Draft v1.0 — this is a plain-language starting document, not formal legal advice. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The developer running this test should have it reviewed before using it beyond a small group of trusted testers.
Rhythms Journal is an early beta version of a personal wellness journaling app. It is being tested informally, is not a finished commercial product, and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or data loss. By continuing, you understand you are a tester, not a paying customer of a finished service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this beta. By continuing, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Depending on which features you use, this may include: journal entries and voice recordings, mood, food/craving tags, energy levels, menstrual cycle dates and symptoms, birth date/time/location and the astrological calculations derived from it, affirmations, monthly intentions, and letters written to your future self. This is sensitive personal information — please only enter what you're comfortable sharing with the app's developer for testing purposes.
If the developer has connected this beta to a cloud account, your data is stored under your individual account and is intended to be visible only to you and to the developer running this test (for debugging and improving the app) — not sold or shared with unrelated third parties. If no cloud account is connected, your data stays only in your own browser and is not sent anywhere. One feature, "Rhythm Reflection," sends a summary of your chart and today's context to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a written reflection; this is not stored by the developer beyond what's needed to display it to you.
Nothing in this app — including cycle predictions, astrology, numerology, or AI-generated reflections — is medical, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. Do not use it to make health decisions. Talk to a real doctor or licensed professional for that.
This beta is provided "as is," with no guarantee it will work correctly, stay available, or preserve your data without loss. Back up anything you don't want to lose.
You can stop testing and request your data be deleted at any time by contacting the developer. You're not obligated to continue testing for any set period.
This beta and this agreement may change as testing continues. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
Questions or data deletion requests: contact the developer who invited you to this beta directly.
